What is an Electrical CAD?

AutoCAD Electrical is a software application for Electrical Designers and Engineers to create wiring diagrams and circuits diagrams. The software includes a library of symbols for electrical components and devices which can be dragged and dropped onto the drawing canvas to create a circuit diagram. AutoCAD Electrical also includes PLC modules which can be configured to simulate the behaviour of a PLC.
